Research and reporting

I authored an analytical study with recommendations for policy makers on opposition to sexual and reproductive health and rights at EU level.

I co-authored a study identifying EU practices which either promote or compromise young people’s sustainable access to sexual and reproductive health services in African countries.

I researched and drafted a confidential research study, with analysis and recommendations, detailing the existing opportunities and resources for human rights defenders at risk in urgent need of temporary relocation.

I drafted a summary report and collated key recommendations following the 2016 EU-NGO Human Rights Forum, which brought together over 400 participants from civil society and EU institutions.

I reported on the 2018 Europe Region as well as the global meetings of the Policy Forum for Development, which brought together over 100 participants from civil society and EU institutions.

I produced advocacy factsheets reflecting the findings on the national-level implementation of selected SDGs presented by the Trade Union Development Cooperation Network at the 2017 and 2018 High Level Political Forum (HLPF).

I drafted the analytical sections of an accountability guide (in the 2016 and 2017 editions) tracking ODA funding from the EU and its member states on reproductive, maternal, new born, child and adolescent health.

Training for civil society

I drafted a training guide on advocacy showing NGOs what they can ask for and expect from EU institutions, and how these institutions are to be approached.

I drafted guidelines and delivered a follow-up capacity building seminar on advocating towards the EU for twenty civil society representatives from ten EU member states.

Policy advice and representation

I have provided policy and advocacy advice on EU engagement to the Center for Reproductive Rights, the only global legal advocacy organisation dedicated to reproductive rights, between 2016 and 2018.
